Projects you’ll work on:
In the X-lives project, we are seeking innovative SMEs in the Netherlands and Germany. As a Junior team member, you will assist companies in realizing innovations in polymer recycling and reusing materials and fibers. In the similar SuSuCoats project aimed at revolutionizing surface protection by developing innovative, sustainable coatings you will perform a similar role. European, Dutch, and German states then fund successful ideas. This is an opportunity for you to engage in sustainability, gain valuable work experience, and expand your professional network.
Role overview:
- Support in the technical application process of a large international consortium.
- Research and summarize current state-of-the-art solutions and assist in formulating the benefits of our proposed solutions.
- Participate/assist in ongoing projects and new Europen Commission proposals.
- Identify suitable SMEs and approach them with a senior colleague.
Candidate requirements:
- Fluent in Dutch or German speaker, and English (minimum B2 level); multilingual is a plus.
- Completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
- Strong writing, presentation and communication skills.
- Flexible and willing to adapt.
- Highly preferable but not necessary: experience in lab/field/bench testing.
