During a visit to Baril Coatings, BlueXPRT founder Ludwin Daal saw how the SuSuCoats project is moving from development into real testing.
New coating solutions are not only being developed but actively tested by companies in the field.
At this stage, 14 companies are already involved in evaluating performance, durability, and applicability under real conditions.
What stands out is how structured this collaboration is. Companies are working together while at the same time protecting their own knowledge and market position.
That balance doesn’t happen automatically. It requires clear frameworks, trust between partners, and coordination across organisations and countries.
For BlueXPRT, this is where projects move beyond planning, making sure collaboration is not only initiated, but faciliated in a way that delivers results.
